What Makes the Superhero Playground Different
Reasons local families choose Chuck E. Cheese over a standalone indoor playground.
More Than an Indoor Playground
Indoor Playground That Actually Goes Somewhere
Most indoor playgrounds hand you a wristband and point you toward the structure. At Chuck E. Cheese in Muncie, the Superhero Playground is the starting line. After they've conquered every climb and slide, there are 51 arcade games waiting — skill games, racing simulators, prize-redemption games. The energy from the playground carries right into the arcade, and parents don't have to load everyone back into the car to find something else to do.
Indoor Fun That Works in Any Weather
In Muncie, the summers are hot and the winters can surprise you. The Superhero Playground at Muncie is always air-conditioned, always open, and never cancelled because of weather. Rainy Saturday? Perfect. 100-degree August afternoon? Even better. It's the kind of plan that works every time — no sunscreen required, no mosquitoes, no muddy shoes.
Built for Families with More Than One Kid
Families coming from Muncie Community Schools often have a toddler and a 7-year-old with completely different energy levels. The Superhero Playground has toddler-friendly zones and bigger-kid challenges in the same structure, so nobody is bored or left out. When the little one is ready for a break, the arcade and the pizza keep the whole group together. One venue, one visit, no one asking to leave for something else.

Safe, Clean, and Built for Families
Chuck E. Cheese has been earning parent trust for nearly 50 years. The Superhero Playground is part of that same commitment.
A Safe Indoor Play Environment Parents Count On
The Superhero Playground is fully padded with soft-play surfaces, and entry is height-limited to kids under 56" — which means age-appropriate challenge without the intimidation of a massive trampoline park built for teenagers. Kid Check®, Chuck E. Cheese's proprietary entry and exit security system, stamps and scans every family at check-in so no child leaves with anyone they didn't arrive with. Parent seating encircles the play area, so you can keep a direct line of sight while you eat — or just breathe for a minute.

What Families in Muncie Say
-
The staff was so incredible and accommodating. Everything ran so smoothly and efficient and all the kiddos in our party had a blast! The facility was clean and I loved the fact that the kids felt safe enough to browse around the whole facility going back and forth from games and the play zone. Each and every kiddo talked about how much fun they had and they could not wait to have another birthday party there. Chuck E. Cheese came out quite a few times during our visit and made sure to make ever kiddo in our party feel seen and allowed them so much time to talk and take pictures. Hands down one of the best birthday party's we have had.
Brandi K. from Anderson, IN -
I had not been to a Chuck E. Cheese for a number of years. I brought 3-upper elementary aged students for a rewards trip. The facility was clean, updated, orderly, and provided excellent service. Purchasing the 2-month Fun Pass was a tremendous value, retrieving great savings in just one visit. Employees presented with superior customer service skills from check in to the secure check out. ALL activities available were enjoyed, with our next rewards trip being planned again!
Christina M. from Anderson -
Everything was clean, staff was very nice, pizza was good, most of the games were running, and our kiddos had a blast! My husband and I took our children to Chuck E. Cheese in Indianapolis starting 25 years ago and now we take our grandkids to the Muncie location. The kiddos always enjoy playing games and riding rides and with their summer fun pass, it was a no-brainer… I'm sure we will have many more visits this summer.
Dena' B. from Parker City -
Honestly the staff is wonderful. They work so hard, with basically a skeleton crew. Sometimes there's only three people, but they make it work. We enjoy our time at Chuck E. Cheese and we are grateful to have this establishment in our town.
