What Makes the Superhero Playground Different
Reasons local families choose Chuck E. Cheese over a standalone indoor playground.
More Than an Indoor Playground
Indoor Playground That Actually Goes Somewhere
Most indoor playgrounds hand you a wristband and point you toward the structure. At Chuck E. Cheese in Burnsville, the Superhero Playground is the starting line. After they've conquered every climb and slide, there are 63 arcade games waiting — skill games, racing simulators, prize-redemption games. The energy from the playground carries right into the arcade, and parents don't have to load everyone back into the car to find something else to do.
Indoor Fun That Works in Any Weather
In Burnsville, the summers are hot and the winters can surprise you. The Superhero Playground at Burnsville is always air-conditioned, always open, and never cancelled because of weather. Rainy Saturday? Perfect. 100-degree August afternoon? Even better. It's the kind of plan that works every time — no sunscreen required, no mosquitoes, no muddy shoes.
Built for Families with More Than One Kid
Families coming from Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 often have a toddler and a 7-year-old with completely different energy levels. The Superhero Playground has toddler-friendly zones and bigger-kid challenges in the same structure, so nobody is bored or left out. When the little one is ready for a break, the arcade and the pizza keep the whole group together. One venue, one visit, no one asking to leave for something else.

Safe, Clean, and Built for Families
Chuck E. Cheese has been earning parent trust for nearly 50 years. The Superhero Playground is part of that same commitment.
A Safe Indoor Play Environment Parents Count On
The Superhero Playground is fully padded with soft-play surfaces, and entry is height-limited to kids under 56" — which means age-appropriate challenge without the intimidation of a massive trampoline park built for teenagers. Kid Check®, Chuck E. Cheese's proprietary entry and exit security system, stamps and scans every family at check-in so no child leaves with anyone they didn't arrive with. Parent seating encircles the play area, so you can keep a direct line of sight while you eat — or just breathe for a minute.

The animatronics were in great shape and were amazing to watch. My 13 year old son sat and watched them for 4 hours straight. He got so inspired by watching them that the next day he was building his own using pvc pipes, cardboard and tape. My 9 year old daughter loved the Animatronics as well and was singing along with them. She also loved the bounce house. Probably the most exercise she got all summer! Her and I bought the 60 minutes of game time, which I felt was a fair price. I hadn't played games in a very long time and I had so much fun. The nerf gun video game was a blast. My daughter was happy with the prizes she got to pick when we turned in our points. The staff was very friendly. The female bathroom was clean. The whole facility was clean. There was a birthday party going on next to us and when Chuck E Cheese came out he was very energetic and super fun. The pizza and pizookie was delicious as well as the cheesy bread. We were excited to purchase some Chuck E Cheese stuffies and keychains. Overall wonderful experience and well worth the one hour plus drive from Livonia, Michigan.

- It's one of the best. The Superhero Playground is fully indoors, always air-conditioned, and open regardless of weather. - Yes — and that's one of the biggest advantages over standalone indoor playgrounds. Burnsville serves pizza, breadsticks, salads, and a full menu of kids' favorites. Parents can eat while watching the kids play, which makes the Superhero Playground a genuine full-family outing rather than just a play stop.
- Yes. The Superhero Playground is part of a full Chuck E. Cheese fun center with 63 arcade and redemption games. After climbing and sliding, kids can head straight to the arcade — skill games, racing games, and prize-redemption games — without leaving the building.
