Kindergarten & 1st Grade: Pushes & Pulls

2nd & 3rd Grade: Potential & Kinetic Energy
Students investigate potential and kinetic energy, learning how stored energy becomes motion through real-world game examples. They make predictions, observe outcomes, and record results on their worksheets — the same scientific method they use in classroom labs, but with flashing lights and redemption tickets as the payoff. - Yes. Chuck E.’s STEAM-tastic Adventure is STEM.org-accredited for kindergarten through 5th grade. Each grade band (K–1, 2–3, 4–5) has a distinct lesson aligned to science standards. Teachers receive a certification document with booking confirmation that can be submitted for professional development or field trip approval.
- The program is designed for kindergarten through 5th grade, ages 5–11. There are three grade-band lessons: Pushes & Pulls (K–1), Potential & Kinetic Energy (2–3), and Game Strategy & Problem Solving (4–5). Groups with mixed grade levels can be accommodated — mention your composition when booking.
- Every booking includes: a grade-specific teacher guide (PDF), a pre-visit activity packet for classroom use before the trip, in-store student worksheets, and a STEM.org accreditation certificate. All materials are emailed with the booking confirmation. There is nothing to purchase or print before arrival.
