Chuck E. Cheese has been part of Topeka since 1979 — nearly as long as we have existed. From our earliest days as Chuck E. Cheese’s Pizza Time Theatre on West 29th Street, to the ShowBiz Pizza that opened on Gage Boulevard in 1980, to this location on Wanamaker Road that has served your families since 1990, Topeka has been one of our longest and most beloved communities.

It is not easy to say goodbye. Our Topeka Chuck E. Cheese is now permanently closed. We are deeply grateful to every family, every birthday kid, and every guest who has walked through our doors over the decades. We know this news will disappoint many longtime guests, and we sincerely thank you for your loyalty.

While we are leaving Topeka for now, that does not mean we won’t be back. This community has been part of our story from nearly the very beginning, and we hope it will be again soon.
