Sensory Sensitive Sundays™

dEDicated Time For Kids With Autism & Special Needs

Chuck E. Cheese is proud to support families who have children with autism and other special needs. Through our Sensory Sensitive Sundays program we’re able to offer families a quieter dining and entertainment environment, dimmed lighting and a sensory-friendly arcade experience. Our sensory-friendly events also include a trained and caring staff to ensure each guest has a safe, fun-filled visit.

Participating locations will open two hours early on the first Sunday of the month to offer a sensory-friendly experience for families.

The Partnership Behind the Program

In 2016, we partnered with the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) to develop the Sensory Sensitive Sundays program. We’re grateful for the education and guidance that CARD has provided, including training materials for our staff that explain what autism is, its observable characteristics, and how to create a sensory-friendly play place for children on the spectrum.
