CHUCK E. CHEESE CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL VIDEO GAME DAY IN-STORE & ONLINE
The family entertainment center is offering in-store deals and an online game-a-thon to benefit Boys and Girls Clubs of America
DALLAS September 10, 2020 – Chuck E. Cheese, the no. 1 family entertainment venue, is celebrating International Video Game Day this year with in-store offers and virtual events for endless gaming fun. For a limited time, guests can receive one hour of All You Can Play game time for just $1 with any $20 purchase, and gamers can join Chuck E. Cheese online as well, where the brand will be hosting an all-day gaming event to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
“This year, not only are guests able maximize their play time in our game rooms, but they can also join us at home for our first-ever online game-a-thon, benefitting our longtime charity partner, Boys & Girls Clubs of America,” said CMO of CEC Entertainment, Sherri Landry. “We’re eager to host this virtual event and use our online presence to support this organization’s efforts, too.”
On Saturday, Sept. 12, Chuck E. Cheese will host Gaming for Good, a game-a-thon styled streaming event benefitting the brand’s national charity partner, Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The eight-hour event will take place on Twitch, a video livestreaming platform, allowing fans to follow along as they throw birthday celebrations for friends on Animal Crossing and win crowns with influencers on Fall Guys. During the event, Chuck E. Cheese will add a “donate” button to the Twitch skin to provide an easy way for fans to contribute to the fundraiser.[KS(1]
In-store, guests can receive one (1) hour of All You Can Play game time for just $1 with any $20 purchase This promotion is available at participating Chuck E. Cheese locations and is valid through Sept. 20, 2020. Check www.chuckecheese.com for the list of locations currently open for games. With All You Can Play, guests can play unlimited games during the play time purchased, with the ability to pause the time once. The time expires at the end of the day of purchase.
