Our Cast Members are empowered to provide the greatest service anywhere through cross-training in a variety of different positions. This allows our Cast Members to learn new skills that will help further their career opportunities with Chuck E. Cheese’s.
Gameroom Attendant
The main priority of our Gameroom Attendants is to assist in providing a safe, fun, and clean environment for all our Guests. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all games are working properly
- Monitoring Guest safety
- Assisting Guests with token or ticket problems
- Showing Guests how to play games
- Cleaning tables, games, tubes, and floors.
Cashier
Our Cashiers play a vital role at Chuck E. Cheese’s. They are more than just cashiers; they are salespeople. Key responsibilities include:
- Suggestive selling
- Explaining to Guests the different menu items
- Taking orders correctly
- Handling cash properly
- Assisting Guests with merchandise
Party Host
Our Party Hosts help create the lasting magical memories for our Guests. As party hosts/hostesses, they do the work so that mom and dad can relax and enjoy the party. Key responsibilities include:
- Serving pizza and other great quality food items
- Maintaining a clean party area
- Interacting with and assisting Guests
- Taking food orders
- Suggestive selling
- Providing kids tokens
- Participating in birthday performances and live shows
Kid Check Attendant
Our Kid Check Attendants are responsible for the first and last impression by our Guests. Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming all Guests with a friendly smile
- Explaining how everything works to first-time Guests to ensure they have a great time.
- Utilizing our unique Kid Check system to ensure that “all Guests that come together leave together.”
Kitchen Attendant (Must be at least 18 yrs. of age)
Our Kitchen Attendants are responsible for providing great quality food. Best of all, there’s no fryers or greasy burger-flipping! Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing, cooking, and cutting food according to Chuck E. Cheese’s standard
- Stocking necessary items for the day’s business
- Maintaining the salad bar ensuring it’s stocked, fresh, and clean
- Serving food to Guests
- Help clean the kitchen
Costume Character
Our Costume Characters are guaranteed to bring out a smile on everyone. Key responsibilities include:
- Interacting with Guests (giving hugs and high-fives)
- Leading party celebrations
- Playing games like “follow the leader” and leading ticket splashes
- Keeping the costume character room clean and organized
- Having fun!
Assistant Technician
Our Assistant Technicians are responsible for electronic and mechanical aspects of the restaurant, and work under the supervision of a Technical Manager. Key responsibilities include:
- Replacing defective parts and making minor repairs to restaurant equipment.
- Performing preventive maintenance on restaurant equipment
- Participating in other tasks outlined in CEC’s Technical Plan.
Our restaurant Opening Coordinators are Cast Members with supervisory responsibilities. Key responsibilities include:
- Opening of restaurant
- Ensuring profitability through outstanding store presentation and Guest service.
- Assigning daily tasks to scheduled personnel
- Modeling and reinforcing hospitality and service expectations
- Supervising and overseeing store operations
- Teaching and motivating team members to maintain high quality Guest service and safety
Our Restaurant Managers are responsible for ensuring we provide the best service and hospitality in the industry by running quality shifts. They are also responsible for leading and developing Cast Members. Levels of responsibility increase as they advance in their career at Chuck E. Cheese’s. Key responsibilities include:
- Opening/Closing of restaurant
- Ensuring profitability through outstanding store presentation and Guest service.
- Supervising and overseeing daily store operations
- Teaching and motivating team members to maintain high quality Guest service and safety.
- Making daily decisions
- Building sales and maximizing profits
- Exercising excellent judgment in cost control procedures, financial accounting, inventory levels, and/or labor management
Our Technical Managers are responsible for the electrical and mechanical aspects of our restaurants. This includes the gameroom which contains our latest video games, skill games, kiddy rides, sky tubes, robotic shows, register systems, and coin and ticket mechanisms. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating Stage show equipment
- Performing preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment
- Repairing and/or replacing defective electronic components including: compressor operation, lighting and sound, pneumatics, mac valves, cylinders, boards, and stage show cosmetics.
- Maintaining inventory of tools and electronic/mechanical parts
- Managing game and show budgets
SUPPORT CENTER (CORPORATE) EMPLOYEES
CEC Entertainment is the parent company of Chuck E. Cheese’s, and is located in Irving, Texas. From the Support Center, our corporate employees provide support to the 500+ Chuck E. Cheese’s restaurants located throughout the US and Canada.
At the Support Center, our main objective is to support the individuals at our restaurants who provide great service and hospitality to our Guests. We believe that “If you are not supporting the Guest, support someone who is.”
